Spring preserves: it’s all about onions

The latest additions to the CPK chutney range have flown off the shelves at the farmers markets. 

Caramelised Onion Chutney is a sweet thing, made with slow-cooked red onions and richly flavoured balsamic vinegar. Fantastic with sourdough bread, cheese and cold meats.

Chilli Onion Chutney spices up any plate of food. Not too much of a tongue-burner but nevertheless, you’ll feel the chilli-warmth when you eat it. Serve with cold meat cuts, cheese or smoked salmon; or stir into sauces and fried rice. Yum!

Fiery Chilli Onion Chutney will definitely wake up your taste buds! Try with sausages, hot dogs, pies and blue cheese.

Ingredients: Red onions (51%), Howgate Wonder apples (21%), balsamic vinegar (11%), sugar No chilli in Caramelised Onion Chutney.
