Rhubarb is such a welcome sight in Spring with its gorgeous pink stems and bright, sparky flavour. The first small batch of Early Rhubarb Jam of the season flew off the shelves!
We use big, golden Pitmaston Duchess pears for this scrummy jam. Star anise brings real depth to the fruity flavour. Tasty on toast, crumpets and crackers, as well as ice cream, porridge and rice pudding.
